Short Day

The distance between Great Bend and Junction City was covered in just a little over two hours.  We pulled into New Horizons about half past ten and checked in with the warranty work manager.  Disappointingly, after going through the punch list we were told to park our rig on the side of the factory and that they "might" get a tractor over and move us to the maintenance facility about mid-morning tomorrow.  If they get one they are working on finished and cleared out so there is room for us.

One step above overnight parking at Walmart, we have water and electricity here at camp New Horizons.

It is still a big question mark about how long it will take to get everything fixed.  Ken, the warranty manager, said that they would probably completely remove the rear window that had a leak.  'Had' being the operative word, I fixed the leak about 11 months ago.  But they want to know how and why the leak happened and it will probably take a complete disassembly to figure it out.  And that is just one of a whole notebook page of stuff they have to do.

Its 100 deg again and we are sitting on black asphalt on the southwest side of a metal building.  The A/Cs are not keeping up, we are heading to Walmart for a rotisserie chicken and holding out for sundown.
